What is the towing capacity for the 2024 Expedition®?
The 2024 Ford Expedition®, when equipped with the available Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package with the Pro Trailer Backup Assist™, can give a maximum towing capacity of up to 9,300 lbs on 4x2 models. The maximum towing capacity on similarly equipped 4x4 models is up to 9,200 lbs, while the capacity of the Expedition® Max 4x2 and 4x4 models is up to 9,000 lbs.
How much cargo space is in the 2024 Ford Expedition®?
The standard wheelbase model of the 2024 Ford Expedition® has 20.9 cubic feet of cargo room behind the third row, 63.6 cubic feet behind the second row, and 104.6 cubic feet of room behind the front row. The Ford Expedtion® Max increases the cargo area to have 36.0 cubic feet of cargo room behind the third row, 79.6 cubic feet behind the second row, and 121.5 feet behind the first row.
What are the differences between the Ford Expedition® and the Ford Expedition ® Max?
The Expedition® Max has a 9.1 inch longer wheelbase and an 11.9 inch longer overall length, almost a foot longer in overal length than the Expedition®. The Expedition® Max has up to 15 cubic feet of added cargo space behind the third row more than the Expedition®. The Expedition® Max has up to 9,000 lbs of towing capacity in the 4x2 and 4x4 models when equipped with the optional Heavy Duty Trailer Tow Package, compared to up to 9,200 lbs of towing capacity for the Expedition® 4x4 model and up to 9,300 lbs for the Expedition® 4x2 model when similarly equipped.
What is the Ford Expedition® Stealth Performance Package?
While the 2024 Ford Expedition® Stealth Performance Package is only available on the Limited, the benefits of ordering one with it are self-evident once you put your foot on the accelerator. With the addition of the 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 High Output Engine, the Stealth Performance Package gives the Expedition a powerhouse of an engine, delivering up to 440 horsepower versus the 375 in the stock engine. It also comes with a sportier suspension and 22" black-painted aluminum wheels, a dual exhaust system, a 3.73 non-limited-slip rear axle, and a B&O® sound system by Bang & Olufsen® with 12-speakers including a subwoofer. This is only available on the Limited version of the Expedition.
